I. Deposits Kayla’s Chic Treats

1a- Celebration Cakes and Desserts: A half down deposit is due within 3 days of placing your order or you will be taken out of the calendar, as other inquiries may be wanting the same date!

1b- Weddings, Events, and Corporate Event Cakes and desserts: A half down deposit is due within 1 week of placing your order or you will be taken out of the calendar, as other couples or businesses may be inquiring about the same date!

II. Final Payments

2a- Celebration Cakes and Desserts: Final payment is due at pick up.

2b. Weddings, Events, and Corporate Event Cakes and Desserts: Final payment is due 1 month prior to the event date.

III. Cancellations

3a- Celebration Cakes and Desserts: You may cancel up to 1 week before the order is due and get a refund of your deposit. If after the 1 week marker, you will not get your deposit back to cover purchase of ingredients, materials and already baked items.

3b- Weddings, Events, and Corporate Event Cakes and Desserts:

• Up to 2 months out: If you cancel up to 2 months before the event date you will receive a partial refund of your deposit for holding the date.
• Up to 1 month out: If you cancel up to 1 month before the event date you will not receive a refund of your deposit to cover holding the date and purchase of materials and ingredients.
• Week of Event: You will be responsible for paying the remainder of the invoice.

*While I do understand some things are out of our control, further discussion can be had to have the order moved to a different date in time!*

IV. Refund Policy

All sales are final once the product has been picked up/delivered and accepted by you or another designated party.

Refund requests will be considered if the item(s) do not meet the flavor, size, and general design as specified in your order.

Refund requests due to decoration style, color shade, or general decoration design will not be considered as each creation is a unique work of art made with human hands. Variation is normal and should be expected as each baker is different and we do not make all designs the same.

Flavor and texture is subjective. Refunds requested due to flavor or texture after items(s) have been accepted will be at the sole discretion of Kayla’ Chic Treats. If the item(s) are brought back within 48 hours of item receipt AND the quality of the item’s flavor or texture do not meet our standards we will consider a discount on your next order or a half refund from the total price, with the exception of specialty bought decorations i.e. cake toppers, flowers, cake charms, specific themed sprinkles etc.

Please note, I do taste my products daily to ensure the highest quality. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Kayla’s Chic Treats.

If a refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 2-7 business days.

V. Changes Made to the Order

4a. Celebration Cakes and Desserts: All changes are to be made a week prior to order date.

4b. Weddings, Events, and Corporate Event Cakes and Desserts: All changes are to be made a month prior to the event date.

VI. Liability

5a. Celebration Cakes and Desserts: Once the item(s) have left the Kayla’s Chic Treats kitchen, I am not responsible for damages made to baked goods or replacing baked goods. I will send you with care directions at pick up.

5b. Weddings, Events, and Corporate Event Cakes and Desserts: Once delivered and set up at the event, Kayla’s Chic Treats is not responsible for damages made to baked goods or replacing baked goods. I will give any and all directions to the point of contact before I leave the venue!
